With over 20 years of experience in horse care, our facility offers acres of pasture May - October and lots of outdoor access in the winter, with free choice hay. Our hay is baled in 4x5 round bales, grown on site, consists of alfalfa, timothy and brome grass, is stored indoors to ensure quality and fed in slow feed nets with round bale feeders. Our feed schedule is customized to fit individual needs, special diets and additional requests can always be arranged*. The horses have unlimited access to fresh water at all times, either in buckets, from our automatic water bowls located in our larger stalls, The Drinking Post waterers located in the larger paddocks or troughs that are cleaned regularly.
We currently have five, 4 acre grass paddocks, a 1 acre dry paddock and 14 additional acres of rotated pasture land, all fenced with three strand electric braid fencing. We are really pleased with this product and have chosen a black/white combination to allow for high visibility in all seasons.
We work closely with our barn vets and farriers to ensure the health and maintenance of the horses we care for, when routine or emergency care is needed we encourage owners to be present in case of issues or concerns but we are happy to take care of that when needed, there is a minimum $20.00 handling fee per veterinary/farrier visit.
