Welcome to Glenaura Farm
Offering quality retirement board for your equine family member in picturesque North Dufferin County between Shelburne and Collingwood just 5 km west of County Rd. 124.
Our 100 acre family farm makes equine well being a priority and provides a private, quiet atmosphere where horses can live out their days with plenty of room to roam in a more natural herd environment. Whether you are looking for a home for your retired athlete or family pet, you can rest assured that the horses in our care are treated as our own with many of our clients living a great distance away, even out of province, and rely on us to provide full care.
With over 25 years of experience in horse care, the farm offers approximately 40 acres of quality, rotated pasture May - October with unlimited access to hay in the winter and ample space to encourage movement in the winter months. We produce high quality dry and wrapped hay in 4x5 round bales fed in slow feed nets with round bale feeders. Our feed schedule is customized to fit the individual needs of each horse with the support of equine nutritionists Our horses have unlimited access to fresh water at all times with drinking post waterers located in each field.
We work closely with our barn vets and farriers to ensure the health and maintenance of the horses we care for, when routine or emergency care is needed we encourage owners to be present in case of issues or concerns but we are happy to take care of that when needed and you are welcome to bring your current health care team with you.
Horses that are in our care must be able to tolerate pasture grazing, we do not offer a dry lot or individual turn out.
